There are many national parks and monuments in the American southwest that contain historic and prehistoric ruins.
Maintaining these ruins is one of the jobs of the National Park Service. Unfortunately, the workers who have the skills necessary to repair these structures are "aging out" and will soon retire.
There are few younger workers interested in apprenticing to these craftsmen, and limited federal funds to support such a program.
Anew / 302 Stories, Inc. produced this program for the National Park Service to educate the public and Congress about this issue.
Funded by the National Park Service.
